American Red Cross Blood Drive on Campus Today

The American Red Cross will host a blood drive today, February 18, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Campbell Student Union Social Hall. Walk-ins welcome, or call 1-800-GIVE-LIFE to make an appointment. Blood drives will also be held on Wednesday, March 18, and Thursday, April 16.

Study in Beijing This Summer

On Thursday, February 26, at 12:15 p.m. in Bulger Communication Center West, students can learn about studying in China this summer. No prior study of Chinese is required. Students will also find out how financial aid applies and about scholarships that are available. Food and Household Items Collection to Continue

The Events Management Office began a collection of nonperishable food and household items to benefit a local food pantry as an alternative to a holiday gift exchange. As the collection grew, several campus departments that frequent the Events Management Office in Cleveland Hall asked if they, too, could contribute.

Darwin Day Celebration, Today During Bengal Pause

Come celebrate the 200th birthday of Charles Darwin, the English naturalist who illustrated the process of evolution, today, Thursday, February 12, during Bengal Pause (12:15–1:30 p.m.) in the Science Building lobby and conference room (SC250). The celebration will include cake and snacks, informative displays and games, and some Darwin-related giveaways.
