The Special Colloquium Series in Applied Mathematics will host five one-hour lectures throughout the spring 2009 semester. The second lecture of this series is today, Tuesday, March 10, during Bengal Pause in Bulger Communication West 2. The main purpose of the lecture series is to introduce students to some general aspects of Credit Risk, to take a closer look at Consumer Risk Management and to generate interest in potentially pursuing a career in the field of Financial Risk Management.

This is the fourth conference done in collaboration between University at Buffalo's Minority Faculty and Staff Association (MFSA) and Buffalo State College's Association of Faculty and Staff of African Descent (AFSAD). Her tips on test-taking preparation will help all students develop confidence in their test-taking skills.

Exercise your "Bengal Spirit" and gear up for the Buffalo State Alumni Association's 12th Annual Bengal 5K Run and Fun Walk, Saturday, March 14, at 9:30 a.m. on the Buffalo State College campus. Proceeds from this event benefit the Legacy Scholarship Fund, a scholarship awarded annually to a deserving Buffalo State student who is the child or grandchild of an alumnus/na.
