Andrea Guiati-the singing professor, appearing at SOLE

Posted:

In 1981 I ended my professional music career to dedicate myself 100% to academia.  I am very happy to have done so because I love what I do.  Getting up every day and coming to work is a pleasure. However, music is a contagious disease, and a profitable middle age crisis, says my wife Prish Moran.  In recent years I have rehearsed to perform again.  So "I am back."  I have accepted a steady gig.  I appear Wednesdays, 7:00 pm-9:00 pm, at SOLE in the Walker Center on Main Street, Williamsville.  SOLE is a Mexican/Cuban Bar/Restaurant, therefore, I sing predominantly in Spanish and Portuguese.  Maura Crawford, the owner, is a Buffalo State graduate, and Becky, the manager, is a Buffalo State senior.  It seems that my renewed music career is not taking me that far from “my Buffalo State family” and I love it.  Come on out and see the cozy place Maura Crawford opened up and I’ll sing my heart out for you.  Hasta luego amigos.
