Dr. Susan Kazanjian, forensic examiner and metallurgist at the FBI laboratory in Quantico, Virginia, will present "Forensic Metallurgy at the FBI Laboratory" at 12:15 p.m. Thursday, November 16, in Science Building 272. Kazanjian will discuss metallurgical examination techniques and their application to criminal cases.

Understanding Law School and Beyond

The Educational Opportunity Program and the School of Natural and Social Sciences will hold a presentation on Tuesday, December 5, at 3:00 p.m. in the Campbell Student Union Assembly Hall for students interested in law school. The presentation is hosted by the Latin American Law Students Association from the University at Buffalo. The panel is made up of current students who will address key components of understanding law school requirements and beyond. An overview of the presentation includes the admissions process for law school, studying for the LSAT, law school in progress, and law student perspectives of personal challenges and accomplishments. This event is open to the campus community. All students who are interested in pursuing law school are strongly encouraged to attend the presentation. The event is free for all attendees; refreshments will be provided. The RLG (Research Libraries Group) Cultural Materials database is available via Butler Library’s Web site. RLG Cultural Materials provides digital versions of 250,000 documents, photographs, objects, maps, art, sound, and motion from archives, libraries, and museums around the world. Content includes the arts and humanities, natural history, performing arts, science/technology, and the social sciences.
