Please check us out when you're in the market for a good book, or as you start looking for holiday gifts. Bargain books arrive frequently and our holiday shipments should be here soon. 2005 calendars are now 25% off, and "National Campus Bestsellers" are discounted daily 20-30%. Don't forget to mention that you are faculty/staff to get your discount.

SABRE: VIEW ANY CLASS LIST (ROSTER)

Did you know you can view any class roster? After you logon to SABRE, choose “SABRE Lookup Self Service”, then “Home.” From the home page, choose “View Student Lists”. Choose “Advanced Search”. Enter the Term Calendar and other information. Choose “Go”. Pick the select circle next to the class. Choose "View List". Use the check boxes above the list to see more than enrolled students (e.g., dropped, waitlisted etc.), choose “Go” to activate. MCNAIR SCHOLARS PROGRAM: INFORMATION SESSION

Emergency Response Training

Join a Building Emergency Response Team - help with emergency response situations on campus, evacuating buildings and acting as on-the-scene liaisons to first responders. The University Police Department is offering a Community Emergency Response Training and Certification program in Disaster Preparedness, Fire Safety, Disaster Medical Operations, Light Search and Rescue Operations, Disaster Psychology, and Terrorism. Call For Building Emergency Response Team Volunteers

We are calling for volunteers to join Building Emergency Response Teams who help with emergency response situations on campus, evacuating buildings and informing first responders about special building conditions or characteristics that may determine the best response to an emergency. CASTL Workshop

The Carnegie Academy for the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning and The University College at Buffalo State present "Aligning Objectives with Assessments" by Dr. Gloria Eastman-English and 2003 CASTL Fellow, Thursday, October 21, during Bengal Pause in TR 102. Based on research conducted during her CASTL fellowship, Dr. Eastman's interactive workshop will help faculty better align their assessments of student work with the expressed learning objectives of their courses.
