The Buffalo State dance program presents its annual spring dance concert, April 28 through May 1. This year’s theme is a tribute to the late great jazz impresario Miles Davis. The dance concert will feature his music from various periods of his life and how it has inspired and influenced the world of jazz.

In celebration of Native American Heritage Month, Mohawk Native Monica Antone-Watson will be holding a workshop on basket weaving, today, April 27, from 12:15 to 1:30 p.m. in Bacon Hall 117. The deadline for accepting URM Fellowship applications is April 30. These fellowships provide a $12,000 per year stipend for qualified undergraduate students. The URM Program is funded by the National Science Foundation's Undergraduate Research and Mentoring Program in the Division of Biological Infrastructure.
