Scholarship Classic Raises Over $75,000.

The Buffalo State College Foundation held its 12th Annual Golf and Tennis Scholarship Classic on September 14 at the Brookfield Country Club. This was our most successful year ever, netting over $75,000. We would like to thank our presenting sponsor, BlueCross BlueShield of Western New York and all those who supported the event.

Join a Faculty Writing Group

Would you like to be part of an interdisciplinary writing group? You can chose a group that meets on a regular basis to write, a group that meets to provide feedback on manuscripts, or a group that does both. The goal of the writing groups is to support faculty in the production and publication of their scholarly works. New groups will begin as soon as next week.

If your department is granting scholarships please be aware that, per NCAA Division III regulations, athletics ability or participation in athletics cannot be taken into account in the awarding of scholarships to our students. Graduate School Open House

The Graduate School will host its fall Open House on Saturday, September 12, between 10:00 a.m. and noon in the Campbell Student Union Social Hall. The Graduate Open House is for prospective graduate students to learn about our programs, meet our faculty, find out how to apply, explore financial aid opportunities, and tour the campus. Student support representatives will also be on hand to answer questions

Master Plan Informational Meeting

Buffalo State is in the beginning stages of developing a facilities master plan that will help the college to plan its site and facilities for the next 10 years. The campus community is invited to attend an informational meeting about the master plan process on Wednesday, December 9, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. in Cleveland Hall 418.
