Marsha Norman, a Pulitzer Prize- and Tony Award-winning playwright/screenwriter whose credits include the play 'Night, Mother, the musicals The Secret Garden and The Color Purple, and teleplays for Law and Order: Criminal Intent, will be conducting workshops and informal forums this Friday, May 15, in the Donald Savage Theater and Communication Building's Flexible Theater. Fiber Design Program Reception Today

I Q I - Inspiration Quotation Interpretation (Hats Project) is a collaboration between Buffalo State College's fiber design program, Buffalo and Erie County Historical Society, Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava, Slovakia, and Liptov Gallery of Peter Michal Bohun in Liptovsky Mikulas, Slovakia. Retirement Reception for Alberto Cappas

After more than 30 years of service to the campus community, Alberto Cappas, janitor, Custodial Services, is “cleaning out” his locker, “powering down” his vacuum, and retiring! Scholarship Gala Raises a Record $270,000

Science in Motion, Buffalo State College’s 12th annual Foundation Scholarship Gala, was celebrated on May 2 at the Connecticut Street Armory. Hosted by President Muriel A. Howard and co-chaired by College Council Vice Chair Howard A. Zemsky and Eunice A. Lewin, the gala was the single most successful fundraiser in the history of the college. A record $270,000 was raised, benefitting 160 students in the All College Honors Program.
