Dietetics Students Host Annual Chili Sale

Students from the Dietetics and Nutrition Department invite faculty and staff to join them on Tuesday, November 10, from 12:15 to 1:30 p.m. outside Caudell Hall 118 for their annual chili sale. For just $5, you will receive your choice of spicy vegetarian or hearty meat chili, a piece of fresh-baked corn bread, a crisp apple, and a refreshing bottle of water. Proceeds will be donated to the Cribs for Kids Foundation. Don't miss out on this opportunity to enjoy a hot bowl of chili for a good cause.

Global Crossroads Videoconference

The LEVIN Institute and the Chronicle of Higher Education are launching Global Crossroads, a videoconference series designed to stimulate dialogue on emerging global topics between students and scholars at various campuses around the world. The first videoconference, scheduled for Tuesday, November 10, at 9:00 a.m., will feature students and scholars from The American University of Cairo, Education City in Doha, and The LEVIN Institute in New York City.

Women's Studies Art Tour at the Burchfield Penney November 13

You are invited to join faculty, staff, and students from the Women's Studies program for a guided, interactive tour of The Photographs of Clara Sipprell exhibit at the Burchfield Penney, Friday, November 13, at 3:00 p.m. Sipprell (1885-1975) was a prominent female photographer whose work includes portraits, still-lifes, landscapes, and cityscapes. The tour will include discussion of how gender influences the work and careers of female artists.
