Scott Johnson is appointed interim dean of University College and associate vice president for undergraduate education effective June 1, 2008. A faculty member in Criminal Justice, Johnson is currently serving as assistant dean for first year and academic programs in University College.
An internal search to fill the position on a permanent basis will be undertaken in the coming weeks.
This workshop covers the basics of digital imaging and digital photography and attempts to provide practical information that simplifies and demystifies working with digital images. Course will include digital imaging basics, digital photography tips, and how to best utilize digital images for print and Web uses.

The Rooftop Poetry Club has announced its reading schedule for the spring/summer. Readings take place on Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. in E. H. Butler Library's Rooftop Garden. In case of inclement weather, readings are moved inside.

The Buffalo State College Alumni Association invites you to Wine Weekend, Friday and Saturday, June 6 and 7. Join us on Friday, June 6, for the Third annual "A Toast to the City" Wine Tasting, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Marcy Casino in Delaware Park. Taste wines from Chateau Buffalo and Southern Wine, and food provided by the Seneca Niagara Casino, Vino's, and more. Proceeds benefit the Burchfield-Penney New Museum Project. The cost is $30 presale and at the door. Reservations are recommended.
We are celebrating Eunice's retirement today! Please join us for a reception in Moot Hall 110, between 1:00 and 3:00 p.m. Eunice has been in state service for 38 years, 27 of which have been with us in the Financial Aid Office. We will miss her tremendously, but are still very excited to share this moment with her. Our invitation is extended to the entire Buffalo State community and we hope you will stop by.

The Summer Youth Employment Program run by the City of Buffalo is currently placing students at work sites for summer employment.
