Faculty may enter their spring 2008 grades using Banner. The grading window opened on Monday, May 5 and will close on Monday, May 12. Detailed documentation for entering grades is available at www.Buffalostate.edu/banner/faculty.xml and click on Final Grades in Banner. If you have any additional questions about grading, please call the Registrar's Office at ext 4811.

Dr. Cederick Ellis has been invited to interview for the position of director of the Center for Excellence in Urban and Rural Education (CEURE). He will provide a formal presentation on Thursday, May 1, at 9:00 a.m. in Cleveland Hall 205. The campus community is invited and encouraged to attend.
EOP celebrates the exemplary academic performance of outstanding students at the annual Honors Convocation, this Thursday, May 1, at 3:30 p.m. in Rockwell Hall. The staff and students of EOP invite the campus community to attend the program and catered reception to follow. Unique features of this year's program include a red carpet treatment for guests and the bestowal of the Distinguished Alumnus award upon Jocelyn Peña-Melnyk, '87, an elected member of the Maryland House of Delegates.
Please join the Native American Student Organization (NASO) in celebrating the academic accomplishments of Native students throughout Western New York at the annual Graduation Social to be held Friday, May 2, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. in the Campbell Student Union Social Hall. The social is an evening of traditional food, dancing, and music to honor the recent graduates. The event is free and open to everyone. The dinner is part provided and part potluck, so feel free to bring a dish to share. NASO is a USG-recognized student organization open to all students at Buffalo State College. The event is made possible by a grant from the Equity and Campus Diversity Office and the Western Consortium.

The United Church of Christ is set to host Dr. Ha'aheo Guanson, Professor of Peace Studies at the University of Hawaii and Rev. Kaleo Patterson, President of the Pacific Justice and ReconciliationCenter, respectively, in Buffalo, NY. On Tuesday, April 29 at 12:15 pm in Bulger East, they will present the history and current status of the native Hawaiian people. All are welcome.
