The maximum amount an employee may contribute to his or her Supplemental Retirement Account has been increased to $16,500 for 2009. Employees age 50 or older, or who have more than 15 years of service, may be eligible to defer an even higher amount under IRS authorized “catch-up” provisions. Employees may also contribute additional money above the maximum through the New York State Deferred Compensation Plan.
Employees who enrolled in the 2009 Flex Spending Account (FSA) Program should have received a confirmation letter from the Fringe Benefits Management Company. Please note: Corrections to your 2009 FSA enrollment and/or changes to your annual contribution must be made in writing on the confirmation letter and faxed to (850) 514-5804 no later than 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 10, 2008.
Faculty may enter their fall 2008 grades using Banner. The grading window is now open and will close on Monday, December 15, at 11:59 p.m. Detailed documentation for entering grades is available by accessing http://buffalostate.edu/banner/documents/ grading.pdf.
