The Buffalo-Lille Association Inc. is planning its third Study Tour to France and Belgium, from July 5 to 13, 2008. Founded in 1989, the Buffalo-Lille Association, along with its counterpart in Lille, France, established a sister city relationship between the two cities, focusing on the establishment of professional ties in seven areas: arts, business, education, government, judicial/legal, science, and sports.

Seminar on Invasive Species

Dr. Meghan Brown of Hobart and William Smith Colleges will present a seminar on aquatic invasive species on Thursday, September 13, at 12:15 p.m. in Science Building 272. Dr. Brown will speak on "Exotic Fleas are Invading Our Lakes: Can We Stop Them?", which will examine the recent invasion of predatory water fleas in the Great Lakes and other lakes in eastern North America. This seminar is sponsored by the Biology Department and Great Lakes Center. All are welcome to attend.
