McNair Information and Recruitment Session

The McNair Scholars Program helps prepare first-generation, low-income, and/or underrepresented Buffalo State students for graduate study. Students who participate in this program are provided with research opportunities and faculty mentors. The program will host an information and recruitment session on Thursday, October 25, from 12:15 to 1:30 p.m. in Science Building 250. Please inform any student you feel qualifies for this program. NYS Health Department Offers Free Flu Vaccines

New York State Department of Health volunteers will provide free flu vaccinations to hundreds of individuals during a training exercise at the University at Buffalo South Campus on November 8. This exercise, part of the “ProtEX NY” initiative, is designed to enhance the ability to protect New Yorkers in the event of a widespread disease outbreak. The exercise will provide experience in vaccinating a large number of people in a very short time. By participating in this exercise, you’ll be contributing to a vital health-preparedness effort.
