Fall 2007 Wizard Conference for SUNY IT Professionals

The Wizard Conference will be held November 5–7 at the Double Tree Hotel in Syracuse. SUNY Wizard Conferences are geared toward the technical community in SUNY. They address specific technology-related issues that are important to SUNY at the time. The attendees are from throughout the SUNY system and include IT professionals from campus CIOs to DBAs to technical assistants.

Correction: Design Department Faculty Exhibition 2007

The Annual Design Department Faculty Exhibition opens Monday, October 15, during regular gallery hours (9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.) and extends through Friday, October 19. The exhibit features works by our faculty in ceramics, fibers, metal/jewelry design, wood/furniture design, and communication design. We have changed our reception to a closing reception scheduled for Thursday, October 18, 7:00–9:00 p.m., in Upton Gallery. Meet the design faculty, view their amazing work, and share refreshments. CDHS/College Relations Mentoring Program for Grover Cleveland High School

The Center for Development of Human Services (CDHS)/College Relations group is seeking graduate and undergraduate applications for the Grover Cleveland High School Mentoring Program. This program provides on-site tutorial assistance and journal writing experience through a paid mentorship (rates vary according to experience) for up to 12 hours per week during the Buffalo Public Schools academic year. Applications are available at CDHS/College Relations, Bacon Hall 114.
