Weigel Health Promotions will host programs on the Buffalo State Tobacco-Free Policy on Thursday, October 22, from 11:00 a.m. to noon in Ketchum Hall 118 and Friday, November 20, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. in Ketchum 111.

Come and learn about the history and purpose of the policy. Opportunities to become a tobacco-free ambassador will be available. Gain the knowledge and skills needed to approach and speak with others and have a respectful and appropriate conversation with them about the policy.

Weigel Health Promotions will host therapy dogs through Horizon Health Services on Thursday, December 3, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. in Classroom Building B118.

Therapy dogs are a great way to relieve stress during some of the most intense parts of the semester. They are capable of much more than you might think, so stop in and learn about all that our working canine friends have to offer.

The Buffalo State Rotaract Club will hold its annual Halloween bake sale on Thursday, October 29, from noon to 2:00 p.m. in the Campbell Student Union. The event will benefit the club's charity of choice at the end of the semester and will feature a wide variety of treats, including vegan and gluten-free options, all for $1 apiece. Sellers will also be traveling throughout campus, so if you can't make it to the Union, please e-mail rotaractclub@mail.buffalostate.edu with your office location, and we will be happy to stop by. Raffle tickets are also being sold for $1 each that will be entered in a drawing for a fall-themed gift basket. Please join us on Thursday in the Student Union and show your support for your school and community.

Join Chartwells as we celebrate Halloween on Thursday, October 29, from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Resident Dining Hall. A live DJ and costume contest will be part of the festivities. Join us for a spook-tacular time!

Join Chartwells on Tuesday, October 13, as the Dining Management team competes for the Dessert Wars title. Each manager will create his or her specialty dessert item, and Resident Dining guests will be able to vote for their favorite one. The event will be hosted in the Resident Dining Hall from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. We hope to see you there.

The annual Homecoming and Family Weekend Food Drive to benefit the Buffalo State Food Pantry is Friday, October 2, from noon to 1:30 p.m. Buffalo State student-athletes will canvass the campus Friday to pick up food items from faculty and staff. If you're interested in donating, please contact Tom Koller, senior associate athletics director, 878-6514, with your name, office address, and phone number. Items in need include cereal, peanut butter, jelly, crackers, macaroni and cheese, pasta, canned fruits, pasta sauce, soup, tuna, and canned chicken.

Bring a $5 cash donation to the Resident Dining Hall to enjoy an all-you-can-eat meal. All cash proceeds will benefit Roswell Park Cancer Institute in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
