Waitlists for Summer Session 2018 will be turned off at 11:59 p.m. on the following dates:

• Session B – Tuesday, June 26
• Session C – Tuesday, July 24

Students can continue to add after the established session deadline by using the Online Late Add Process in SSB. Between June 4 and 30, College Relations will be migrating all official Drupal websites (150, plus the main site) to an off-campus web host. There are many benefits to this move, including enhanced performance, increased security, and timely Drupal version updates. We do not expect downtime for websites during the transition. New sites will be brought online with the same URL.

We are asking campus users to help support this move by holding off on making website content changes during this upcoming period. If site changes are required, please submit them to webadmin@buffalostate.edu and College Relations will apply updates directly. Changes made by users directly to sites during this content freeze period will not carry over to the new system.

Sites that College Relations already maintains will continue to be managed as usual during the migration process.

College Relations will alert campus once sites are migrated. Please send your questions, comments, and concerns to Melissa Meehan, director of web administration, 878-3903.

We are pleased to announce the launch of the Data Services Portal, a campuswide data dictionary and report repository available to all campus faculty and staff members from the RITE website Resources menu. Powered by Data Cookbook, the portal currently includes definitions and report specifications related to student data and will be expanded to include additional data in the future.

If you are looking for reports on enrollment, retention, or other student data, please check the Data Services Portal first. Frequently requested reports are included in the portal, with instructions on how to find them. Log in to Data Cookbook and get the information you need with a quick search. If you don’t find what you’re looking for, please visit the RITE Self-Service Portal and submit a request for a custom report.

Hot water will be shut off in Upton Hall beginning today, May 21, through late August as part of the ongoing rehabilitation of the building. Cold water service will not be affected.

Upton Hall is undergoing an infrastructure improvement project that will include rehabilitation of ventilation systems for the north wing, specialized local exhaust systems, a new kiln room and new equipment in the glaze and clay mixing suite, and renovated spaces for the jewelry/metal and wood/furniture programs.
