Planned Power, Data Interruptions: July 25

Posted:

Six campus buildings will experience a temporary interruption to electrical service on Monday, July 25. The planned service interruption will occur between 12:01 and 1:00 a.m. and will last about 15 minutes. The following buildings will be affected:

  • Central Heating Plant
  • Clinton Center
  • Elms Hall (Classroom Building)
  • Technology Building
  • Twin Rise
  • Weigel Wellness Center

The shutdown will interrupt power to the campus data center. Staff members in the IT Department will do their best to restore network connections for the workday.

Building occupants need not take any special action with computers, refrigerators, or similar equipment because the planned interruptions will be brief.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as the campus conducts preventive maintenance in the main electrical substation. Questions about this work may be addressed to vpfm@buffalostate.edu.

LEAP: Graduate Student Art Exhibition

This exhibition proudly shows the results of their artistic growth during their graduate school experiences and individual creative journeys.
