Tell Students: Self-Care Event - March 15

Posted:

The Dean of Students Office will host its biannual “Self-Care Event” on Wednesday, March 15, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Campbell Student Union Social Hall. There is a reciprocal relationship between learning and health, as well as a direct connection between the academic mission of Buffalo State and the well-being of its students. This program aims to advance that relationship by helping students explore and address the complex relationships among health, learning, and well-being.

We invite students to participate in the HEW 312 class health fair. Attendees can enjoy a 10-minute chair massage, try a sample of fresh-pressed juice, acquire a knowledge of gratitude journaling and how to use Milligan’s Food Pantry, connect with the Counseling Center (and learn how that department can best support their persistence toward graduation), and revisit their childhood wonder while having a balloon animal made. We hope to see you there!
