From Wednesday, August 27, through Wednesday, September 3, just present a book fair voucher at any Barnes & Noble location (except Buffalo State College), and a percentage of the net sale will be donated for our mission here at the Newman Center. The SUNY Center for Professional Development (formerly SUNY Training Center) is a cooperative, voluntary organization funded by its members and the SUNY system. As a component of SUNY Learning Environments, a unit of the Office of the Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, the SUNY CPD is a special-purpose, system-wide organization that provides training and professional development opportunities for staff and faculty of our member institutions.
The Admissions Office will be hosting its first Fall Open House for prospective students and their families on Saturday, September 20, from 9:00 a.m. to noon in the Sports Arena. Refreshments will be served. Guests will have the opportunity to tour the campus, meet with faculty and student support services, discuss financial aid options, and explore career opportunities.
