Volunteer Fair: Wednesday, September 13

The Volunteer and Service-Learning Center will host a Volunteer Fair for Buffalo State students in the Campbell Student Union lobby on Wednesday, September 13, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Representatives from area organizations will be in attendance to speak with students about exciting volunteer opportunities available for individuals and groups throughout the year.

Faculty members will receive a copy through their academic departments. Please remind students: The deadline for seniors to submit their applications for December 2006 graduation is September 15. They may download the form at www.buffalostate.edu/registrar/forms.xml or complete the form at the Registrar’s Office in Moot Hall. The number of credits required for a degree is 120.

WNED-TV Presentation Frank Lloyd Wright in Buffalo, September 4, 10:00 p.m.

The documentary will air nationally on PBS. This production highlights 32 images from the Buffalo and Erie County Historical Society Research Library Collections, including the Larkin Administration Building, Elbert Hubbard, John D. Larkin, the Darwin Martin House, Lafayette Square, Lackawanna Steel, the Richardson Complex, and the Erie Canal. Library staff worked with producer Regina Ticco on the project. Watch the credits at the end of the show!

August 28–September 1 is the last week for students to make adjustments to their schedules. Registration ends at 8:00 p.m., Friday, September 1. It is very important that students who no longer want a class drop themselves from the waitlist or course as soon as they can. SABRE hours this week: Monday–Friday: 1:00 a.m.– 8:00 p.m.
