Enrollment for Weight Management Study has Ended

The enrollment for the weight management study that was sponsored this summer by the Office of Undergraduate Research and the Dietetics and Nutrition Department ended in August. Given the size of the interest in the study, we will not be able to respond individually to those who expressed interest in participating after the enrollment target was achieved. The research team would like to express appreciation for your interest would like to encourage your participation in future weight management studies.

The Women's Studies Committee would like to put out an all-points call for a fresh new perspective from some of the newer female faculty and/or staff members who have come to Buffalo State in the last several years to assume leadership positions for this committee. The SUNY Office of International Programs announces a new opportunity for interested SUNY faculty to use online learning to extend the boundries of your classes internationally. The initiative is intended to promote innovative courses and academic projects that bring SUNY and international faculty and students together. The CNP activities will naturally make extensive use of new instructional technologies (SUNY Learning Network), as well as other kinds of activities with colleagues and students abroad. Academic Theme CD to be distributed

The Academic Theme CD, a collection of written and spoken words, visual images and music, will be mailed this week to first-year students and distributed in campus mailboxes of full-time faculty, teaching professional staff and adjunct professors in the Writing Program.

The VSLC, Project Flight, and Financial Aid Office have partnered to identify off-campus work-study jobs for ALL MAJORS with non-profit agencies in Buffalo. Examples of career building positions available include tutoring in Buffalo Public Schools, after-school program assistance in community centers, and office assistance in area agencies.
