Yes, RITE has a knowledge base. Anyone can access it from the RITE home page. Look for the yellow box on the right that says "Need Help? Go to the RITE Self-Service Portal." Once there, you can sign in at the top. All faculty, staff, and students can search the knowledge base.
Once you're on the self-service portal web page, you'll see a search box at the top right of the page. Type your question or keyword. For instance, you can type "How do I reset my password," or just "password," and all associated articles will appear. Click on the one you want.
Want to find articles on accessibility tips? Type "accessibility" in the search box. All articles related to accessibility will appear.

Many faculty members capture library database articles and save them as PDFs, upload them to Blackboard or another course web site, and ask students to use them. While PDFs are accessible, they don’t always retain all the accessibility traits that are necessary and included in the original document.
By using a persistent link, you allow your students to go right to the article in the library database, where the article is fully accessible. Please review the instructions on how to create persistent links to library database articles.
