Tomorrow: Garman Art Conservation Department Open House

Posted:

Please join us for the Garman Art Conservation Department's annual Fall Open House tomorrow, October 28, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on the second floor of Rockwell Hall. We are excited to be back after a two-year hiatus. This event gives visitors a peek into the world of art and cultural heritage conservation. Come and see what our graduate students and faculty members have been conserving this past year and take a tour of our state-of-the-art studios and labs. This is an excellent opportunity for potential program applicants, art enthusiasts, or anyone in the community who is interested in learning more about the art conservation program and the work we do. The event is free and open to the public.

J-Term, Spring 2023 Textbook Adoptions Needed

Posted:

We are still looking for adoptions for the J-Term and spring 2023 semesters! Please take a moment right now to log in to our Adoption Insights Portal (AIP), found under the Faculty Resources tab in Blackboard, and submit your adoptions. With the quick turnaround between the fall and spring semesters, it is important to get adoptions in as soon as possible so we can be sure to have books available to students on the first day of the semester, if not before.

We will have to start processing our publisher returns of unsold books in November. But early adoptions let us carry over books from fall to spring if they are being used again.

Please contact textbook department manager Trista Hayes, (716) 878-5509, with questions about textbook adoptions or the AIP system.

Thank you to those who have submitted their adoptions thus far.
