Food Pantry Update

Posted:

Thanks to all who donated to the Food Pantry food drive. It was a great success. Chartwells is graciously housing the food that is available to students who are identified as having a need. Additional thanks also go to our athletes who collected the food; Tom Koller, who organized the drive; and the Rotaract Student Organization, who sorted and organized the food into 60 bags, each containing one to two days worth of meals.

Additional donations to the Buffalo State Food Pantry can be made on the first and third Mondays of the month between noon and 2:00 p.m. at the loading dock behind the Campbell Student Union. Faculty and staff members who identify students who have a need for assistance with food can contact the following committee members: Stephanie Kindzia, Financial Aid Office; Carol DeNysschen, Dietetics and Nutrition Department; or Kim Jablonski, Weigel Health Center. Thanks again to all who helped make this food drive a success.
