IGA and Friends Present the Hearts for Haiti Fundraiser

Faculty, staff, and students are invited to attend the Hearts for Haiti Fundraiser presented by the Inter-Greek Association and friends, Monday, February 1, at 7:00 p.m. in the Campbell Student Union Social Hall. A $5 donation includes access to the WNY photobooth, the Big Red Chair, and multiple games of bingo with prizes from Spot Coffee, Pano's, La Nova, J.P. Bullfeathers, Starbucks, and many more. Google makes it easy to perform searches and offers tools that can make your searching even easier. Google Scholar and Google Books are two such applications. Learn how to better use Google for searching, explore Google Scholar and Google Books, and see how we can best use these tools in our pedagogy. Join us on February 9, 12:15–1:30 p.m. in E. H. 13th Annual All College Honors Scholarship Gala

The Buffalo State College Foundation celebrates the 13th annual All College Honors Scholarship Gala on Saturday, April 24, at the Connecticut Street Armory. The festivities begin at 6:30 p.m. with gourmet hors d’oeuvres and cocktails; dinner is at 7:30 p.m. followed by a live auction and dancing. Creative orange tie is optional and is a fun alternative to a tuxedo or formal wear.

USG Annual Valentine Flower Sale: Pre-Order Today!

A dozen red or assorted color roses is $15 and comes with a free teddy bearl; a half dozen red or assorted color roses is $10 and comes with a free Valentine's Day themed button; and three single red or assorted roses are $5. To pre-order, go to the USG table in the Campbell Student Union or to the USG Office in Student Union 402. The USG Valentine Flower Sale is open to all students, faculty, and staff. Calling All Soccer Players: Raise Money for Haiti Aid on January 30

Buffalo State's men's and women's soccer programs will hold a fundraiser game to support the American Red Cross Haiti Relief Fund, Saturday, January 30, at 2:00 p.m. The plan is to play the game on Coyer Field if the snow is cleared, otherwise the event will be moved indoors for a 4v4 tournament in the Sports Arena.

Hospice Spring Bouquet Sale: Place Your Order Today!

Support Hospice Buffalo by purchasing beautiful mixed bouquets for $7 or a large tribute bouquet for $30. The Tribute bouquet features 30 stems and for each one sold, a $7 bouquet will be sent to brighten the day of a current Hospice Buffalo patient. Pre-sale orders will be taken until February 16 only. Curriculum Course and Program Submission Deadline

All departments should be aware that the deadline for submitting a course or program is Monday, March 15, 2010. Any submissions made after that deadline will not be reviewed until fall 2010. To be considered for the Bulletin and committee review, a signed blue routing form must be sent to the College Senate Office for any courses submitted. Sharepoint is the vehicle to submit a course proposal. Program and minor proposals are still mailed to the College Senate Office. If you have any questions, please call the office at ext. 5139. For SharePoint technical support, please call Neil Palmer at ext. 4611.
