Lot S Temporarily Enclosed

Posted:

As the rehabilitation of Buffalo State's electrical substation continues, workers are beginning construction of a new switchgear building along Iroquois Drive, adjacent to Moore Dining Hall.

This week, temporary fencing enclosing the entrance to Lot S (the 12-space staff lot at the north end of Upton Hall) was installed for two reasons: 1.) to provide space for trucks to deliver building materials (otherwise these deliveries take place on Iroquois Drive, blocking a lane of traffic and needlessly endangering travelers) and 2.) to enclose the materials (steel, brick, block, and a mortar mixer) for the safety of pedestrians in the area. This installation is expected to continue through the end of summer 2009.

Inquiries can be made to Campus Services at ext. 6111. Thank you for your understanding as we move forward with this critical campus project.
