DISPOSAL OF STUDENT RECORDS

Posted:

Submitted by Mark Bausili, Registrar's Office.
Offices often clean out records over the summer. Please remember all records containing student ID numbers, grades or information traceable to a student must be destroyed. Paper records must be shredded. Tossing computer-printed lists or student files in trash or recycle bins is NOT appropriate. If you don't have access to a shredder on campus or you have a large volume of material, call Rich Saddleson, ext 3169. Students with disabilities participation at commencement

Posted:

An article that appeared in the April 21 Record regarding students with disabilities has caused some confusion about the participation of our students with disabilities in commencement. The students referred to the article are in a special College-Based Transition Program coordinated by People, Inc., Buffalo Public Schools, and other off-campus agencies. They are not Buffalo State students. Since they are not enrolled in a degree program they are not eligible to participate in our commencement ceremonies.
