If you’re using Blackboard, sign up now for the Course Migration training session at http://bscintra.buffalostate.edu/registration/classlist.asp. The first item on the session’s agenda is migrating your course material from Blackboard to ANGEL, the college’s new learning management software package. ANGEL was the overwhelming favorite of the task force that selected Blackboard’s successor because of ANGEL’s easy-to-use, up-to-date features in a Web environment.

Site Maintenance Sunday, Bookmark Important Links

Posted:

Computing and Technology Services will take the Buffalo State Web site offline Sunday, September 18 from 9:00-9:10 a.m. to perform server maintenance. Although the campus homepage (with links to important applications and online services) should be available by 9:10 a.m., complete restoration of the server and all subsites may take several hours. This means some subsites under www.buffalostate.edu may not be available until approximately 2:00 p.m.

Please note that many mission-critical applications and services (e-mail, SABRE, Degree Navigator, Blackboard, etc.) remain available whenever the main site is down.

A list of critical URLs is available at www.buffalostate.edu/documents/importantlinks.pdf (PDF, 24KB). Please bookmark these URLs, print out the list, or store the PDF on your hard drive for future reference.
