Regalia Orders for Commencement Due April 17

Posted:

Commencement is a few short weeks away, and rental orders for academic regalia for marchers are due by Friday, April 17, for guaranteed hood colors and standard shipping charges. Please visit the Commencement website to register to march in Commencement and for regalia order instructions. Your participation as a faculty or staff marcher is deeply appreciated. Additional marchers are greatly needed.

Alternatively, volunteer ushers may register to assist with Commencement as well. Your help with greeting guests, assisting with the graduate lineup, and distributing booklets is also greatly needed and deeply appreciated. Ushers do not wear academic regalia.

Thank you very much for your support in honoring our Class of 2015.

It's National Volunteer Week. April 12–18 is dedicated to inspiring, recognizing, and encouraging people to seek out imaginative ways to engage in their communities. With this year's theme of “Celebrating Service,” the week is all about showing the good that is possible when we pull together as a community.

If you already volunteer, stop by the VSLC in Cleveland Hall 306 tomorrow, April 16, between noon and 5:00 p.m. to tell us about your volunteering experience and receive a free cup of Tim Hortons coffee.

If you are looking for a way to get involved, give back, and shift the world and yourself a little bit, search for community-identified volunteer opportunities today.
