Iroquois Drive Closure: May 22, 23, and 25

A portion of Iroquois Drive, from Grant Street to the entrance of Lot I-39, will be closed from 6:00 a.m. Monday, May 22, until 6:00 p.m. Tuesday May 23, and again on Thursday, May 25, from 7:00 to 10:00 a.m. The remaining section of Iroquois Drive, including the entrance to Lot I-39, will remain open (campus map; PDF, 3 MB). This temporary closure will allow for the delivery and installation of sports lighting on Coyer Field. For more information, please contact Mike Bonfante, facilities project manager, 878-6290.

In Memoriam: Doris B. Trudeau

The Buffalo State community is saddened by the death of Doris B. Trudeau, administrative assistant (retired) in Institutional Advancement, who died on January 1, 2017. She is survived by two children. Additional information is available online.

Fiscal Year-End Payment Processing for 2016-2017

Fiscal year-end payment processing for FY 2016–2017 is fast approaching. If you have a purchase order in place but will not be available to authorize receipt of the goods, please be sure to designate another employee in your department to do so. 

Below are some important steps you can take to assist our office in meeting the payment deadline.

  • Once a purchase order is generated, please be sure that the goods or services are received and the purchase order goldenrod, packing slips, and invoices are forwarded to the Accounts Payable Office, Cleveland Hall 414, immediately.

  • Delivery confirmations for office supplies and Dupli orders must be forwarded to the Procurement Services Department, Cleveland Hall 413, immediately upon receipt of goods.

  • Report any change(s) to the original order, such as a price increase or availability of items, to the Procurement Services Department immediately.

  • All travel reimbursement vouchers for trips prior before June 30, 2017, must be received in our office immediately following the trip and no later than August 4.

Today: Buckham Hall Electrical Service Interruption: 6:00 p.m.

Posted:

Buckham Hall will undergo a buildingwide electrical shutdown from 6:00 p.m. to approximately 10:00 p.m. today, May 15. This work is necessary to update the electrical service for the newly renovated Buckham Hall B Wing. The work is expected to take no more than four hours, after which all power will be restored to normal. Please observe standard precautions, such as powering down computers.
