Preferred Source Catalog Update

Posted:

As a state agency, Buffalo State College is required by New York State Finance Law to purchase from "preferred sources" whenever possible. Every effort should be made to purchase from Corcraft (Division of Correctional Industries), NYS Industries for the Disabled (NYSID), and New York State Preferred Source Program (NYSPSP) for People Who Are Blind when the form, function, utility, cost, and delivery terms meet the needs of the campus. Please become familiar with the websites, products, and services offered by preferred sources. Many commonly purchased items such as toner, general office supplies, filing cabinets, and furniture can and should be obtained through a preferred source.

The preferred source catalogs are occasionally updated. Please download or bookmark the List of Preferred Source Offerings (PDF, 1.2 MB). Contact Steve Olsen, assistant to the comptroller for procurement, 878-4113, with questions.
