Chartwells Dining: 'One Million Acts of Good' - February 28

Posted:

Chartwells will partner with Student Life to help fight food insecurity by assembling healthful MATTERbox snack packs with handwritten notes of encouragement on Wednesday, February 28, in the Campbell Student Union lobby at noon. The packs will benefit the campus's Milligan’s Food Pantry as well as visitors of Friends of Night People through “One Million Acts of Good,” a Cheerios and Ellen Show campaign.

Half of the 300 boxes assembled by volunteers will go to Milligan’s Food Pantry, and the other half will go to Friends of Night People.

Students, faculty, staff, and those who attend are encouraged to post their photos and activities to the hashtags #BSCforGood and #OneMillionActsofGood in the hopes that enough social media "noise" will make the Ellen Show take notice of this great event and Buffalo itself.
