Parking Permits Available for 2023-2024

Posted:

Faculty and staff parking permits for?the 2023–2024 academic year are available to?purchase online. Please log in to the parking permit system using your campus username and password to pay with MasterCard or Visa.

In an effort to reduce congestion at Moot Hall and allow time for the mailing of permits, faculty and staff members are strongly encouraged to?purchase their parking permits?online before the beginning of the semester.

New for 2023–2024
Parking permits have changed from stickers to hang tags for the 2023–2024 academic year. One of the outcomes of the recent Parking Study, this change aims to address escalating costs; student, faculty, and staff requests; ease of use; and use of permits with temporary vehicles. This change necessitated alterations to certain policies related to parking permits, which are detailed on the Parking Services website.

Employees may purchase up to two parking permits. Parking permits are not transferable. Any infraction resulting from a permit transfer is valid and is the responsibility of the registered owner and permit holder.

When purchasing parking permits online, please be prepared to complete vehicle information for the vehicle(s) the permit will be assigned to. Vehicle(s) must be legally registered within the United States or Canada to the faculty or staff member or someone in their household. If the primary vehicle associated with the permit changes, please communicate this change to Parking Services via the Parking Permit "Primary Vehicle" Reassignment form. You do not need to communicate the temporary use of a permit with another vehicle.

Please email Parking Services with questions.

Exhibition Reception: ‘Inward, Onward, Upward’ - July 27

Posted:

The Art and Design Department is pleased to present a special summer exhibition, Inward, Onward, Upward, on view in the Czurles-Nelson Gallery through Friday, August 4; viewing is by appointment only.

An exhibition reception will be held Thursday, July 27, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.

Please contact Marie E. Bogner, Czurles-Nelson gallery coordinator, (716) 878-4390, with questions or for more information.

Buffalo State Travel Voucher Update

Posted:

The Buffalo State University Travel Voucher form (MS-XLSX, 34 KB) has been updated to reflect current requirements of the Office of the New York State Comptroller. The new form can be found on the Travel Services website. Effective immediately, this form will be the only travel voucher accepted for reimbursement of travel costs for employee travel.

A new form titled Over-the-Max (PDF, 430 KB) has been made available as well in order to comply with New York State travel regulations. This form is to be used when a traveler is requesting reimbursement for accommodations over the per-diem hotel rate for an area, for example, when booking a hotel that is affiliated with a conference that is above the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) per-diem rate for lodging.
