Learn how to create, edit, and publish a basic survey using Opinio. We will cover the following features and functions: (1) survey privacy and behavior settings, (2) survey info texts, buttons, and templates, (3) survey question types, (4) branching (if-then logic), (5) survey publishing, and (6) reporting and data management. Presented by Rada Montroy on September 28, 12:15–1:30 p.m. in E. H. Butler Library 318. This will be hands-on training for faculty and staff with active Opinio accounts and a demonstration for those without.  Register online.

The fun begins Thursday, September 23, during Bengal Pause with the annual pep rally and USG-sponsored chicken barbeque in Perry Quad and continues that night with the annual king and queen competition at Rockwell Hall at 6:30 p.m.

Disability Services Reminder

As we enter the third week of classes the Disability Services office would like to issue a friendly reminder to all instructors. Students needing disability accommodations should contact the Disability Services Office. Any student who is requesting disability accommodation and does not have an official “accommodation memo” from disability services is not deemed to have formal disability accommodations in place.

Tell Students: Study Business and Economics in Amsterdam

Next Thursday, September 23, at 12:15 p.m. in Bulger Communication Center North 2C, students can learn how to spend a semester studying at the School of Economics and Management at the University of Applied Sciences in Amsterdam. They will find out how courses taken there fulfill requirements here, how financial aid applies, about scholarships that are available, and about other creative ways students fund their overseas experiences.
