Health Insurance Option Transfer Period Ends December 31.

Employees who wish to change their health insurance plan for the coming year have until Thursday, December 31, 2009. We encourage you to complete the option transfer forms as soon as possible. This will avoid retroactive premium adjustments and should allow you to receive new health plan identification cards by the coverage effective date, January 7, 2010.

Faculty Workshop: Crafting Your Teaching Philosophy

Instructional decisions are strongly influenced by one’s beliefs about teaching and learning. Course learning goals emerge from these beliefs or philosophy of teaching. To effectively teach and help students learn, learning goals should be as clear as possible. In this interactive workshop you will: (1) engage with various tools designed to guide reflection on your beliefs, (2) document aspects of your teaching philosophy, and (3) use these reflections to create and/or clarify learning goals for your courses.
