Free Concert Event to Celebrate Living in Buffalo!

A free event featuring local musicians and artists will take place this Friday, December 2, from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. in the Campbell Student Union. "Buffalo Rockstars: The Art and Music Celebration That Inspires" will include concerts from five local bands—Vera; The Missing Planes; The Frodis Caper; About Time; and Hello Star, Vega—Buffalo State Step Expression, an art show of local artists’ work, food, prizes, and more. In conjunction with Revitalize Buffalo, an informative forum with local celebrity speakers will be held in the Fireside Lounge. This concert event has been developed by the CRS 303 Leadership class as part of a service-learning course.

The planning committee for the Phil Santa Maria memorial celebration wishes to thank all those who contributed to the program as speakers, performers, technical help, backstage crew, dining services help, or in any other capacity. We also thank those who attended for making this event a success. DVDs of the program are available.
