Buffalo State faculty and staff members are invited to enjoy a day of fun at Darien Lake with family, friends, and alumni on Saturday, June 18. Tickets are $30 a person and include parking, admission, and a lunch buffet. Friends and family members are encouraged to attend, and children under age 2 are free.

Come anytime during park hours to enjoy the Darien Lake park and water attractions on your own, then join our group for a buffet-style catered lunch from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. in the Picnic Pavilion. Darien Lake’s hours of operation are 10:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. The lunch buffet menu will include hot dogs, barbecued chicken quarters, assorted chips, potato salad, fruit salad, tossed green salad, frozen novelties, and unlimited fountain drinks.

Registration for this event will be open until Friday, June 3. Tickets to the park, parking passes, and wristbands for access to the picnic pavilion will be mailed to registrants after registration is closed.

Kim Jablonski, assistant director of mandated programs for Weigel Health Center, will retire on May 20 after 12 years of outstanding service to Buffalo State. The Health Center will honor her services with a celebration on Friday, May 13, from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. in Weigel Health Center 203. Staff, faculty, and students are welcome to stop by to wish her well.

Learn to make and sample study snacks that are delicious, easy to prepare, and loaded with protein. Hope to see you there.

Come and celebrate Mass on the First Friday of each month at 8:00 a.m. in the Newman Center Chapel. We will gather for Mass and start the month with a renewed perspective. Stay for a cup of coffee afterward or take a cup to go. Our next Mass will take place Friday, May 6.
