Culinary Demonstration: Microgreens - November 30

Posted:

Chef Steve Burgeson and graduate student Peter Flanagan will discuss the microgreen trend in food service during a culinary presentation on Thursday, November 30, during Bengal Pause (12:15–1:00 p.m.) in the demonstration studio in Caudell Hall. The use of local produce from supermarkets, the Lexington Co-op, and urban farms is on the rise. Now is the time to become familiar with these products and incorporate them in your diet. Chili Sale: Thank-You

Posted:

The Buffalo State dietitian education program Class of 2019 extends its gratitude to members of the Buffalo State community for their generosity during this year’s chili sale, held October 31.

This event is our opportunity to practice community outreach and event-planning skills during our program. This year’s chili sale brought in $1,395, all of which will be donated to the AmeriCares organization to contribute to relief efforts for the recent hurricane tragedies of Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Maria. We hope our efforts will have an impact, and we thank you again for contributing to this cause.

Again, the Buffalo State DEP Class of 2019 thanks you so much for your support and for being a part of impact, action, and learning!

Happy holidays!
