This SUNY system-level award recognizes classified service employees for excellence and superior service to students and the community at large. The Dr. Katherine S. Conway-Turner Office of Civic and Community Engagement Office (CCE) wants to recognize your students' achievements and the positive impact they have left on the community. Please encourage students who have completed between 200 and 1,000 hours of community service, especially those graduating in December, to apply for the President's Certificate of Recognition for Community Engagement now.

This award covers a student's entire college career, so transfer students can also use community service they completed while attending a former college or university as well.

Recipients will be recognized at the 2025 Buffalo State Celebration of Community Engagement on Tuesday, May 6, 2025. Students can find more information and a link to apply on the CCE website. Applications are due by Monday, April 29. 2025.
