Please Welcome the New Director for Residential Dining!

Posted:

Chartwells Higher Ed Dining is excited to introduce our new Residential Dining Director, Paige Ware!

Paige's passion for food began with her first grilled cheese at her grandpa’s and has only grown since. A native Houstonian, she earned academic scholarships to attend Michigan State University, where she built the foundation for a well-rounded, service-oriented career. After graduation, she developed discipline and adaptability as the business manager at Bare Necessities during a period of rapid growth. Her transition into the catering field with Chartwells allowed her to sharpen her skills and deepen her enthusiasm for hospitality, flourishing under strong leadership at the University of Houston.

Now at Buffalo State University, Paige is thrilled to continue creating warm, welcoming experiences through great food and exceptional service.

Page is looking forward to connecting with the Buffalo State community throughout the summer before the fall semester begins!

2025-2026 Parking Permits

Posted:

As a reminder, parking permits (or Pay and Display stubs) are required to park a vehicle at SUNY Buffalo State University at all times.

Faculty and staff parking permits for the 2025–2026 academic year will be available for purchase online starting Friday, August 1, 2025. Applications may be submitted via the parking permit system using a campus username and password to pay with a MasterCard or Visa. Additionally, applications may be completed in person in Moot Hall, where both cash and credit card are accepted.

To reduce congestion at Moot Hall and allow time for the mailing of permits, faculty and staff members are strongly encouraged to purchase their parking permits online before the beginning of the semester.

Employees are authorized to transfer the hangtag permit from one vehicle to another vehicle that they personally drive. However, for convenience, faculty and staff may purchase up to two parking permits. As a reminder, hangtags may not be transferred from one user to another.

When completing the application, employees are able to indicate whether they would like the permit mailed to a home address or picked up in Moot Hall. The mail option is available from August 1 to August 26, and from September 9 through the end of the academic year. From August 27 to September 8, only the pick-up option is available.

Parking Services requires vehicle information for the primary vehicle to which the permit will be attributed. This vehicle must be a legally registered automobile within the United States or Canada. If the primary vehicle for this permit changes, please update Parking Services by emailing parkingservices@buffalostate.edu.
