Global Outreach through Fulbright Programs: The International Entrepreneur

Any student, faculty, or staff member interested in the multiple possibilities of the Fulbright Program is welcome to attend the Fall Fulbright Seminar of the Western New York and Northwestern Pennsylvania Chapter of the Fulbright Association that will be held in the Cambell Student Union Assembly Hall on Friday, October 4, from 12:30 to 4:00 p.m.

The guest speaker will be Kathleen Moskal, a Buffalo State alumna, who is an internationally known product designer and developer.

The event is free and open to the public.

Faculty Survey on Integrative Learning

All full- and part-time faculty members at SUNY Buffalo State are invited to participate in a short survey concerning the value of integrative learning (e.g., making connections within courses as well as across courses). The survey will remain open until Friday, September 20. You must be teaching at least one course at Buffalo State this semester to be eligible to complete this survey.

Questions about the survey or study of integrative learning can be directed to John Draeger, associate professor of philosophy and humanities and director of CASTL. Thank you for your participation.

Homecoming 2013: September 24-28

Homecoming and Family Weekend will be held September 24–28. Events include the tailgate party; Homecoming Fest; food drive; banner competition; Powder Puff Football; Homecoming Parade; Lip Sync Competition; Orange Crush Carnival; pep rally; window-painting contest; King and Queen Competition; student and family dinner; shopping cart float competition; car or SUV float competition; and football, soccer, and volleyball games.
