Importance of Deadlines When Submitting Grant Proposals and Contract Documents

Posted:

James A. Thor, operations manager for the SUNY Research Foundation at Buffalo State, reminds the campus community to expect strict adherence to the five-day proposal submission and routing sheet deadline in order to enable pre-award staff to review budgets, make changes, and ensure accuracy of figures prior to submission to the sponsor.

The grant proposal or contract documents, together with a completed and signed routing sheet, must be submitted to the Pre-Award Office at least five business days before the date the proposal or contract must be returned to the sponsor.

Contact Jim Thor, Lisa Krieger, or Carol Darstein with questions about this deadline.
