Thank You for Supporting the Fourteenth Annual Student Art Sale

Posted:

A big thank you goes out to everyone who so kindly and generously supported the 14th annual Student Sale. Sales were good despite the faltering economy and cold weather, proving that the college community supports its students! Through this event, students participated in a "real world" experience, tested their works in the market place, and earned some money at the same time.

EDU 121 Tutoring Diverse Language Speakers

Posted:

This course is open to the college community. You do not need to be an education major. The course will cover second language acquisition philosophy and learners, as well as tutoring strategies. We will be using the SIOP material (Sheltered Instruction Observation Protocol), which is a research-based training program and is the same content that the Buffalo City Schools is using. A hands-on field placement is included and is part of the scheduled hours.
