Apple Virtualization Demo: Friday, March 9

Would you like to own a Macintosh computer but think it will not run Windows applications? Then this presentation is for you! This will be a presentation on Bootcamp, Parallels, and CrossOver, discussing Apple's Intel-based architecture and how to take advantage of and run any Intel-based application. The presentation will include background and information about all three products. The three products will then be demonstrated and, time permitting, the presentation will be open to some experimentation.

Athletics Hall of Fame Recognition Night: February 9

Some of the best athletes to wear a Buffalo State uniform, as well as former administrators and coaches, will be on campus on Friday, February 9, when the Intercollegiate Athletics Department hosts its Hall of Fame Recognition Night in the Sports Arena. The evening begins at 5:00 p.m. with a reception in the Bengal Room, followed by the Bengals basketball doubleheader against Cortland, including a ceremony at halftime of the men's game. Tickets to the game are $5 for faculty and staff and may be purchased at the Sports Arena ticket window the night of the game. Buffalo State Competes in Recyclemania!

Buffalo State is taking its campuswide recycling program to the national level by participating in Recyclemania, a 10-week waste-reduction competition among colleges and universities across the United States. Campuses will compete in various contests to see which institution can collect the largest amount of recyclables per capita, the largest amount of total recyclables, the least amount of trash per capita, and the highest recycling rate. The competition period runs through April 7. In the end, Recyclemania helps all participating colleges and universities make achievements in recycling and waste reduction!

Newman Center Offers Weekly Friday Mass

Fr. Pat, director of campus ministry at the Newman Center, invites the entire campus community to join him for this week's Friday Mass celebrating the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord.
