Would you like to own a Macintosh computer but think it will not run Windows applications? Then this presentation is for you! This will be a presentation on Bootcamp, Parallels, and CrossOver, discussing Apple's Intel-based architecture and how to take advantage of and run any Intel-based application. The presentation will include background and information about all three products. The three products will then be demonstrated and, time permitting, the presentation will be open to some experimentation.

Some of the best athletes to wear a Buffalo State uniform, as well as former administrators and coaches, will be on campus on Friday, February 9, when the Intercollegiate Athletics Department hosts its Hall of Fame Recognition Night in the Sports Arena. The evening begins at 5:00 p.m. with a reception in the Bengal Room, followed by the Bengals basketball doubleheader against Cortland, including a ceremony at halftime of the men's game. Tickets to the game are $5 for faculty and staff and may be purchased at the Sports Arena ticket window the night of the game. The offices of Student Life and Residence Life will be celebrating Black History Month with the African American Student Organization and Black Active Minds by showcasing these significant events:

Buffalo State is taking its campuswide recycling program to the national level by participating in Recyclemania, a 10-week waste-reduction competition among colleges and universities across the United States. Campuses will compete in various contests to see which institution can collect the largest amount of recyclables per capita, the largest amount of total recyclables, the least amount of trash per capita, and the highest recycling rate. The competition period runs through April 7. In the end, Recyclemania helps all participating colleges and universities make achievements in recycling and waste reduction!

Children 8 years and older (with accompanying adult) are invited to attend a cartooning workshop at the Burchfield-Penney Art Center on Sunday, February 11, at 2:00 p.m.

EVERGREEN Initiatives, in conjunction with the National Wildlife Federation (NWF), hosted a screening of Al Gore's critically acclaimed and Oscar-nominated documentary An Inconvenient Truth on January 18. The screening was followed by a conference call with climate-change and environmental experts:
