Butler Library Website Redesign

Posted:

The Butler Library website will soon migrate to a new content management system, which will require a complete redesign. Originally scheduled for fall 2016, this migration has become imperative as technical issues with the current site continue to mount; therefore, the library is planning an early release of its new website at the start of the fall 2015 semester.

As the transition date draws closer, a preview site, informational materials, and a detailed overview of the website’s new features will be made available. Most library URLs will be unaffected by the redesign, but please prepare for navigational changes as the organization of the website will be changing.

Questions, comments, and concerns can be directed to the library’s web team. Stay tuned for the official launch of our fresh, new website.

Demolition of Old Press Box at Coyer Field

Posted:

A new press box has been constructed at Coyer Field, and the old press box has been prepared for demolition. The demolition process will begin Saturday, July 18, and will continue for about eight days. To ensure the safety of pedestrians and vehicles, temporary lane closures on Iroquois Drive adjacent to the old press box will be in place during the demolition.

Although one lane of traffic will be maintained at all times, you may wish to use other campus entrances and exits to avoid congestion during this period.

Your patience and understanding are appreciated. Questions about this project can be e-mailed to vpfm@buffalostate.edu. Please visit the Facilities Planning website for the latest information about current and upcoming construction projects.
