This year’s honorees are David Anastasi, partner at Lake Effect Sales and Marketing; Therese Forton-Barnes, owner of Events to a Tee; and Joseph Heary, executive director of Friends of Night People Inc.

Following the awards ceremony, enjoy a reception of haute cuisine–inspired stations with paired wines at Campus House.

This project is a kind of final exam for them. Students are looking to help your department and guide you through the creative problem solving process on Saturday, April 16 or 23. Data Analytics Conference: May 18-19

Posted:

Please join us for a multidisciplinary conference, Data Analytics across Disciplines, sponsored by the National Professional Science Master's Association and the SUNY PSM consortium, May 18 and 19 at the Niagara Falls Conference Center in Niagara Falls, New York. The registration fee for SUNY students, faculty, and staff is subsidized (50 percent off the general registration fee) by a SUNY High Needs grant and includes breakfast and lunch for both days.

Peter Sondergaard, senior vice president at Gartner Research, said, "Information is the oil of the twenty-first century, and analytics is the combustion engine." This conference is a timely opportunity for people across academia, private industry, government agencies, and nonprofits to get together to survey the current landscape of data analytics and to discuss reshaping the education—at the undergraduate, master's, and Ph.D. levels—of the next generation of professionals who will function in a data-intensive world.
