New M.S. in Public Relations Degree Starts This Fall

Applications are now being accepted for fall 2016 for Buffalo State's new master of science degree in public relations. This 33-credit-hour program, intended for part-time study, will prepare graduate students for a wide range of careers in public relations. The application deadline is Monday, August 15. The following Blackboard training sessions and workshops will be held in July:

Detailed descriptions of each training session (PDF, 192 KB) are available on the RITE website. All sessions will be held in Butler Library 316 (please note room change) or in a virtual webinar format.

All workshops are suitable for instructors teaching face-to-face, hybrid, or online courses. All workshop presentations will be one hour and are limited to 10 participants. The instructor will be available for an additional 30 minutes after each workshop for additional questions and discussion.

Free Universal Pre-K at the Child Care Center

Attention, parents of 4-year-olds: each year, the Buffalo State Child Care Center offers free universal pre-K to residents of the City of Buffalo Public Schools District. All children with 2012 birth dates are eligible for this upcoming school year. The free UPK program runs from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., with wraparound care available from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Only two spots remain!
