Alumni Night at Bengal Athletics: February 10 - Register Now

Join the Buffalo State Alumni Association for an exciting evening of Buffalo State sports and fun with family and friends during a home game triple-header against SUNYAC opponents on Friday, February 10.

  • Men's basketball vs. the Cortland Red Dragons – 5:30 p.m., Sports Arena
  • Men's hockey vs. the Brockport Golden Eagles – 7:00 p.m., Ice Arena
  • Women's basketball vs. the Cortland Red Dragons – 7:30 p.m., Sports Arena

Food, soft drinks, water, face painting, and games (Cornhole and Tumble Towers) will be available in the foyer of the second floor of the Sports Arena from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m. The cost is $3 per person in advance or $5 at the door (cash only); children under age 12 are free. Parking is free in Lot G-24 and on the other side of Grant Street.

Includes

  • admission to men’s basketball, men’s hockey, and women’s basketball games;
  • food, soft drinks, and water;
  • face painting and games.

Register by 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 8.

Team Facts

  • Men's basketball: The team is looking to make the SUNYAC postseason for the third year in a row and the eighth time in the past nine years.
  • Men's hockey: The Bengals are looking to improve on their program-record-setting season a year ago, in which they finished 15-7-4 overall and placed second in the SUNYAC. 
  • Women's basketball: The team looks to shoot toward the top of the SUNYAC under second-year head coach Kevin Clifford and the 11 new Bengals he has brought into the program.

Weight Watchers Open House: January 11

The Buffalo State Employee Assistance Program (EAP) offers Weight Watchers meetings on campus every Wednesday from noon to 1:00 p.m. in Butler Library 208. Meetings are open to faculty, staff, and students.

To learn more before joining, please visit the Weight Watchers Open House on Wednesday, January 11, from noon to 1:00 p.m. in Butler Library 208.

If you have been thinking about joining the program, now is the best time to join. If you are currently attending these meetings, keep up the great work and get ready to welcome some new members.

Buffalo State's Ensemble Video service will be unavailable from midnight to 7:00 a.m. Thursday, January 5, while we update to version 4.5. Features of the new version include a design update, an improved video player, and the ability to add custom metadata. For more information on Ensemble 4.5, please visit the Ensemble Support page or register for training on campus through the Workshop Registration System.
