From the Dean of the School of Natural and Social Sciences
An information and planning meeting on the proposed professional science master’s (PSM) track in data analytics will be held Thursday, September 28, at 12:30 p.m. (location TBA).

The Data Analytics Interdisciplinary Unit has advanced a track in the multidisciplinary M.S. program as a professional science master’s (PSM) degree in data analytics. The track has been approved by SUNY and is currently being reviewed by the New York State Education Department. This is the first step toward developing a full PSM master's program in data analytics.

The program is highly interdisciplinary, and members of the campus community are invited to join us to discuss how data science and data analytics applies to their disciplines and how this new program might interact with their departmental programs and faculty. I hope you can join us for this discussion. RSVP to Marcia Burns, secretary 2 in the School of Natural and Social Sciences, if you plan to attend.
